The Washington Cotillion teaches basic ballroom dancing and the fundamental social graces in a formal but congenial setting and in a manner easily understood by children.  We introduce basic dance steps for a variety of dances, accompanied by live music, and basic etiquette for receiving lines, refreshments introductions and dancing.  Learning the basics helps to encourage polite behavior and build confidence that enables children to be comfortable at any social occasion.
